As many as 50 Quranic calligraphy works are on display at the Oriental Arts Exhibition in the Russian capital of Moscow.

(Ahlul Bayt News Agency) - According to Al-Misr Al-Yawm daily, the exhibition has been underway since the beginning of the holy month of Ramadan. It features calligraphy works by renowned Russian calligrapher Fassil Hannanev.

He has written verses of the Quran in different calligraphy styles, also using graphics and collage methods. “The Holy Quran gives me peace of mind,” he told Russia Al-Yawm television network. He said he has mounted the exhibit in the holy month of Ramadan because it is an opportunity for people to learn more about Islam and Islamic arts. Hannanev also said some of the works contain the Russian translation of the verses so that the visitors can benefit more from the works.
